Named ‘harp playing landlord’ in English, the hotel might even offer you a musical performance by Herbert, the owner, during dinner.

The Harfenwirt’s location provides easy access to the Niederau ski area and ski school, with the Tennladen lift just steps away. A short walk down the road brings you to the village centre, where you can indulge in après-ski activities and nightlife.

The hotel’s rooms blend traditional and modern styles, with most featuring balconies that offer stunning views of the Wildschönau. Dining at the Harfenwirt includes a variety of classic Austrian dishes and hearty international meals, with a vegetarian option always available.

All rooms have a satellite TV and hairdryer.

Twin room – sleeps 2-3 (max 2 adults and 1 child up to 11): Austrian twin beds, extra single sofa bed when booked for child, private bath or shower, WC and balcony.

Superior twin room – sleeps 2-3: Austrian twin beds, extra single sofa bed when booked for three, private bath, WC and balcony.

Single room – sleeps 1: Single bed, private shower, WC and balcony.

Cots are available to hire for approx. €7 per night, payable locally.

Austrian twin beds: One large bed frame containing two single mattresses, each with their own bedding.
