Our Terms

Vertice Ski is the trading name of Vertice Ski Limited and we offer holiday in the capacity of an agent for disclosed Tour Operator/Suppliers named as the Principal on your booking confirmation invoice from Vertice Ski.

Vertice Ski is the trading name of Vertice Ski Limited registered company number 13739584 whose registered address is 61 Bridge Street, Kington, United Kingdom, HR5 3DJ. We act in the capacity of an agent for disclosed Tour Operator/Suppliers named as the Principal on your booking confirmation invoice from Vertice Ski, and your booking contract is with the principal.

Booking Conditions

Please read through the following terms and conditions before making a booking. Any booking made through Vertice Ski will be governed by the relevant Principals terms and conditions. Please ensure you read the principals terms and conditions prior to making a booking, if you require a copy of these please email us and we will provide the link to the full terms.

We act as agent to disclosed principals offering package holidays and principals offering accommodation only. For all of the principals we work with who offer flights, you are protected under their ATOL in event of their failure. With all the principals we work with who offer accommodation only you are protected by supplier failure insurance, in the event of their failure.

Confirming your booking

The person who makes the booking (either by calling us or email) is known as the Group Leader they must be at least 18 years old and they act on behalf of their whole group and take responsibility for the holiday cost in full, any additional costs due to amendments or cancellations and accepts the principal’s terms and conditions on behalf of their entire group. The group leader must also provide all names of those in their group as per passport (this is essential to avoid any additional charges from the principal for names changes) along with any dietary requirements.

For any children in your group, we will need the dates of birth. If child discounts are applicable, then the child’s age will be taken from the last day of the holiday. If the incorrect details are supplied this could result in an increase in costs even once the booking has been confirmed.

Please check your confirmation invoices carefully and advise us of any errors within 24 hours of receipt of the invoice. For any required amendments charges may apply. At the time of booking if more than 14 weeks prior to departure non-refundable deposits are required. If within 14 weeks of departure the full cost of the holiday falls due. Upon the relevant payment being received a confirmation invoice will be emailed to the email address supplied by the group leader.

If the final balance is not received 14 weeks prior to the holiday start date, we may charge a late payment fee of £10 per person per day it is late. We also reserve the right to cancel your holiday if you fail to make payment for the balance of your holiday by the due date and all monies paid to date will be lost.

Payment

We accept payments by either debit/credit card or bank transfer. All monies paid are paid into our trust account and is paid to the principal through the trustees of the account. If we need to process a refund due to an overpayment we will charge a £10 administration cost per card refunded to assist with covering any necessary charges incurred.

Commercial debit/credit card – 2% administration fee

Bank transfer – No charge

Prices

Prices displayed on the website are based on 2 people sharing a standard room for two people in UK Pounds Sterling. The prices shown on the website are a guide only and do not include any relevant supplements or discounts that may be applicable. Please request a quote for the full breakdown in costs, although unlikely to change it is possible a quote could go up or down in price prior to confirming your booking. (Some principals do not absorb the local tourist tax into the price of their holidays and therefore this may be charged in resort by certain principals, payable to their in-resort staff).

The prices of holidays are fluid and therefore may reduce in price after the point of booking. You would not be entitled to a reduced price on this occasion. Holidays purchased via Vertice Ski are governed by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. This states that refunds, date changes or cancellations cannot be made free of charge, following a holiday booking.

Booking Amendments

If you need to amend your booking, we reserve the right to charge an admin fee of £25 per change to the booking, in addition to any charge applicable as per the principals terms and conditions. Any changes to a booking must be provided in writing by the group leader and sent to [email protected]

Cancellations by you

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel your booking, cancellation charges will apply as per the principals terms and conditions. We also reserve the right to charge a £25 per person cancelled for administration fees. If you do need to cancel your holiday this must be confirmed to us in writing to [email protected]

Amendments / Cancellations by Principal

Sometimes it is necessary for the principal to change or cancel your holiday, they do this as a last resort and will let you know as soon as reasonably possible. Any changes made by the principal will also be governed by their terms and conditions.

Requirements / Requests

Please confirm in writing to us at the time of booking if you are booking your accommodation due to specific facilities provided, such as a hot tub. Occasionally the principal may not be able to provide this during your stay due to unexpected circumstances and therefore cannot be guaranteed. Whilst we endeavour to accommodate special requests we are unable to guarantee these and are sent to principals on a request basis.

Dietary Requirements

If any of your group has dietary requirements, please advise us at the enquiry stage. Some of the principals make charges for dietary requirements. Any dietary requirements whether chargeable or not will appear on your confirmation invoice.

Our Liability to You

Your booking contract is with the disclosed principal displayed on your booking invoice and you are bound by their terms and conditions. If however we are found to be liable for any errors or issues that may arise the maximum liability payable is limited to the commission we have or are due to earn from your booking.

Travel insurance

Every passenger booked through Vertice Ski must have adequate travel insurance as part of the booking terms, this includes but is not limited to Winter Sports Insurance and comprehensive Covid cover. This should be booked at the same time the holiday is booked (ASAYB). We do not accept any responsibility for any passenger who travels without relevant insurance.

Passport, Visa and Vaccination Requirements

Please ensure that all members of your party have the relevant amount of time left on their passport and any required Visas prior to travel. If in doubt, please contact the relevant embassy for advice. It is your responsibility to ensure all passengers where applicable have the relevant up to date vaccinations for travel, please check with the relevant countries if you are unsure.

Flights & Ski Carriage

All flight times are provisional and subject to change. We cannot accept any liability for any other costs relating to the change of holiday details. If the principal has booked scheduled flights and you need to cancel your holiday, there will be an additional charge for the flight even if the final balance is not due. For ski holidays, ski carriage may be required, this is subject to availability so please do confirm this at time of booking.

Force Majeure

We do not accept any liability or pay compensation where our obligations or the principal’s obligations under contract are prevented or changed as a result of Force Majeure. Such events may include but are not limited to war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, major risk to human health such as the outbreak of a serious disease, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside our control.

Information on the website

The information displayed on our website is to be used as a guide only. We do not accept any liability for any errors. Where we display the property location these are to be used as a guide only and have been added to the best of our knowledge. Ratings of properties are not in any way an official rating. They are a guide from Vertice Ski based on a number of factors such as but not limited to the property, facilities, location and service provided.

Accommodation ratings

The ratings shown on our website are not necessarily official accommodation ratings. They are the ratings we at Vertice Ski have given which are based on many aspects of the holiday ranging from but not limited to; accommodation facilities, accommodation location, service provided by the principal.

Complaints

If an issue with your holiday arises whilst you are on holiday you must make the principal aware of the situation as soon as possible. This offers them an opportunity to rectify any problems as soon as possible. If they are unable to resolve the issues please write to us on your return and within 28 days so that we can send this to them and they can fully investigate.

Law and Jurisdiction:

All bookings are governed by English law and at the jurisdiction of English courts.
