Hotel Monte Rosa is a traditional hotel dating back to 1853 oozing character it has held onto its history and nurtured it. Located around 800m from the mountain railway station and ski school or alternatively just 2 minutes’ walk from the bus stop.

The hotel has a cosy feel, Edwards bar is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink before your evening meal. The hotel does have the Brasserie Belle-Epoque restaurant however for half board you can take vouchers for other local restaurants so you can get to sample some of the other restaurant delights Zermatt has to offer.

Whilst Hotel Monte Rosa doesn’t have its own spa and pool, it has teamed up with the Hotel Mont Cervin Palace to provide guests with this facility should they wish and it’s only a 2 minute walk away.

All rooms have a cable TV, bathrobes, safe and minibar with free soft drinks.

Twin room – sleeps 2: North-facing room with twin beds or double bed, private bath and WC.

Superior twin room – sleeps 2-3: Twin beds or double bed, single folding bed, private bath and WC.

Single room – sleeps 1: Single bed, private bath and WC.
