The Old Macaroni blends charm with comfort, offering a unique experience with book-inspired bedrooms, a home cinema, a sun-soaked outdoor deck, and top-tier amenities like a hot tub and a glass-fronted barrel sauna—all set against one of Morzine’s most breathtaking views. Step inside to discover the chalet’s welcoming features, blending the traditional farmhouse style with modern comforts. A spacious boot room greets you upon entry, leading to the open-plan kitchen and large dining area. You’ll also find an additional seating area ideal for a quiet coffee or a casual dining spot for children.

Upstairs, the panoramic views of Morzine village from the lounge are truly awe-inspiring. The upper level of The Old Macaroni features the main living area, alongside three beautifully designed bedrooms. The lounge is framed by large bi-folding doors that open across an entire wall, allowing guests to take in the sweeping vistas of Morzine village, the church, the valley below, and the Pleney and Nyon pistes. Inside, you’ll find a grand piano and a charming log-burning stove, adding to the chalet’s welcoming atmosphere. The bi-fold doors open to a spacious balcony that wraps around the chalet, offering the perfect vantage point to enjoy Morzine’s iconic weekly Pleney fireworks display and the torchlight descent in winter.

Bedrooms Inspired by Literary Classics

The first bedroom draws inspiration from The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway. Featuring a luxurious turquoise velvet bed and calming blue accents, this room evokes a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere. Each bedroom comes with a custom-designed en-suite bathroom, including unique features like glass taps and a shower illuminated with soft lighting.

The second bedroom takes its inspiration from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The room features an elegant burgundy velvet bed, with large windows opening to a private balcony where you can enjoy a peaceful morning coffee. The room also includes a stunning roll-top bath located on a mezzanine level, all while providing stunning views of the Pleney slopes and Point de Nyon. The en-suite bathroom includes a double shower and twin washbasins, perfect for ultimate relaxation.

The third bedroom, inspired by All Men Are Mortal, offers a boutique hotel-style experience with an open, spacious design. A large shower area and separate dressing room provide both comfort and privacy. Sliding glass doors open onto a private balcony, offering unrivaled views across the valley.

The fourth bedroom is influenced by Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak, with an ornate design and a spacious en-suite shower room, adding a touch of elegance to your stay.

The fifth double bedroom offers flexibility as it can easily be transformed into a dedicated spa room, allowing you to indulge in a variety of treatments during your stay. Our concierge team is happy to provide a menu of spa services to help you unwind and rejuvenate at your leisure.

The Old Macaroni is a cosy yet spacious chalet, comfortably accommodating between 10 and 18 people. The mezzanine level is equipped with four full-size double cabin beds, each offering privacy curtains and a plush mattress for a restful sleep. Our standard occupancy of 12 people is based on one person per bed, but each bed can comfortably sleep two, allowing for a total of 18 guests. For winter stays, our catered pricing is set for 12 people, but additional guests can be added at an extra cost—just let us know when booking.

Private Cinema and Entertainment

On the lower level, the chalet features a cinema room designed for ultimate comfort. With tiered seating and art deco-style lighting, the room captures the essence of classic movie theatres while adding a modern touch with luxurious bright pink and purple velvet seating. The state-of-the-art surround sound system and large screen offer an immersive cinema experience, while oversized custom-made bean bags provide extra seating to curl up and enjoy a movie night.
