Hotel Panthera
Description
Hotel Panthera is centrally located just 1 minutes walk to the Bernkogel and Kohlmais lifts and 4 minutes’ walk to the ski school meeting point. You can almost ski back to the hotel.
With its wooden balconies and overhanging eaves, the Panther’a has that traditional Austrian look. Step inside, and things are a little different though. The whole place has been given a sleek, modern makeover, with touches of pink and the odd bit of panther-themed décor dotted here and there.
Getting to and from the slopes is easy peasy – it’s a 1-minute walk to the lifts, and you can ski to within metres of the hotel at the end of the day. Then once you’ve dropped your gear off in the boot room, grab your towel for a swim or enjoy some downtime in the spa instead, where you’ve got a choice of saunas to help you on your way to après-ski zen.
As for what’s on the menu at mealtimes, you’ve got a hot and cold buffet breakfast to start the day – don’t miss the pancake and waffle station. Then, later on, you’ve got four courses of filling fare, not to mention a weekly farmers’ buffet, where you can find your favourite local speciality.
All rooms have a satellite TV, hairdryer and safe.
Twin room – sleeps 2: Austrian twin beds, private shower and WC.
Superior twin room – sleeps 1-3: Austrian twin beds, extra single sofa bed when booked for three, private shower and WC.
Deluxe twin room – sleeps 2-3: Austrian twin beds, extra single sofa bed when booked for three, private bath and WC.
Austrian twin beds: One large bed frame containing two single mattresses, each with their own bedding.
