Description
Chalet Violetta is a ski-in, ski-out property in the heart of the traffic-free resort of Avoriaz, just minutes from the centre and close to shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars — including the popular Folie Douce and Yeti, only a 2-minute walk away. Guests can also access the Aquariaz water park within a few minutes on foot.
This traditional, semi-detached wooden chalet offers seven en-suite bedrooms spread across three floors. Each room has twin beds that can be configured as doubles if requested when booking. Three of the bedrooms share separate WC facilities. A wooden sauna with a nearby shower is located downstairs, ideal for soothing muscles after a day on the slopes, and the Ski & Boot room includes boot warmers.
The chalet has an open-plan living and dining space, creating a warm and sociable atmosphere. Large windows let in plenty of light and offer views of the horse-drawn sleigh taxis that pass by, adding to the resort’s unique charm. The design combines a classic Savoyard look with modern touches, featuring traditional wooden furnishings throughout.
Guests are provided with a snowcat resort taxi on arrival and departure — a piste-basher-style vehicle that takes you from the Avoriaz Welcome Station directly to the chalet door. Alternatively, a horse-drawn sleigh taxi is available locally for an added magical touch.
